Sushi 88 collects, uses and discloses personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) about our customers in order to provide automated and centralized order processing and delivery dispatch solutions so that we can deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Finally, we collect, use and disclose personal information respecting applicants for potential employment or franchise opportunities with Sushi 88 or its affiliates.

Information collected from Customers
Typically, when a customer contacts us, either by telephone or through our website, we collect certain
Personal Information, including the customer’s name, address, phone numbers, credit card number (if
that is how they choose to pay), email address (if the customer orders through our site), and any
comments that a customer may provide to us. We also record the customer’s order, and over time,
develop and retain an order history for returning customers. Sushi 88 uses this information to
fulfill your order and locate your deliver food to you.
Information Collected from Applicants for Employment
With respect to potential employees, we collect only that information that is reasonably necessary to
assess an individual’s application for and suitability for employment and to administer our employees.
The information that is collected includes names, addresses, phone numbers, email address, bank
accounts as well as information regarding performance, work/education background and history and
such information contained in a résumé or that is obtained from references.

Personal Information for a period of twelve months from the date of application for the purpose of
assessing an individual’s suitability for other employment opportunities with our organization. Applicant

employment with our organization materializes in that time period. Disposal is executed by shredding or

All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of your order, using the original method of payment.
We currently outsource delivery of our products to a third-party delivery platform such as uber eats. They handle the delivery and payments as well as refunds. Please review their policies when ordering through their apps. Please contact them in the rare occasion there is an error.
Items offered on our website are only currently only available for pickup at our main locations at 690 Somerset St West, Ottawa. Delivery to your location by the restaurant is currently unavailable at this time. If we do make an exception to deliver it is done at the sole discretion of the individuals on site at that current time. We reserve the right to refuse any requests for delivery.
An estimated time will be provided to you once your order is placed. Times are estimates and commence from the confirmation of your order. Times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order.
Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfill your order within a reasonable time between 15-20 minutes of your order. In the event of a longer wait time you will be notified by phone prior to you placing your order.
Sales tax is charged according to the province of Ontario and Canada.

For any food to be considered for a refund, discount or exchange the item must be brought back to the restaurant in its original container(s) with a valid receipt to be inspected by management.
* If 10% or more of the food has been consumed or removed, we cannot issue any discount, refund or store credit. If the food has been discarded, repackaged or tampered with then we cannot verify its origin or issue and cannot issue any discount, refund or store credit. Please direct any questions or concerns to the manager on duty by calling the restaurant.

If you get food that is different from your receipt, we sincerely apologize. Please call us as soon as you notice that you received the wrong food. You may come to pick up the corrected order while returning the incorrect order. In some cases, we may offer you a store credit on your next visit if returning the food is not an option.
Your order will be priority if you come to pick it up. In all cases, please return the wrong food in the original container(s)* to our host or driver to avoid an additional charge.
In the rare occasion that you do not receive food that is on your receipt, we will make it up to you. Please call us as soon as you notice that we missed any food items in your order. You may come to pick up the missed items. You may cancel the missed food before we prepare it without any question, and we will refund the amount to a credit card or we will refund you with a store credit. No cash refunds.
Please note: we do provide courtesy items such as disposable silverware, chopsticks, extra sauces, etc. when requested for free. If we mistakenly omit a free courtesy item you are welcome to let us know so we may address the issue with our staff, however we cannot provide discounts, refunds or store credit.
We cook our food fresh to order. We take great care and pride in all of the dishes we make. Please call us immediately if you receive unsatisfactory food caused by uncared delivering, bad packaging or strange objects in the food. We will need the food returned in the original container(s)* so we may investigate and deal with the issue. We will prepare for you the new dishes and make sure they're the best. If you do not wish to receive a new dish, we may refund the amount to a credit card or we will refund you with a store credit only after we receive the food in the original container(s)* and have confirmed the error at the discretion of the manager on duty. We do not offer cash refunds. In some cases, we may offer you a store credit in the dollar amount of the returned food.
Please note: we strive to prepare and package our pickup and delivery items to preserve the high quality of the food. Keep in mind the temperature, sauce and consistency of some items may vary slightly after being packaged. Please order pick up or delivery items at your discretion. Your order will be priority if you come to pick it up. In all cases, please return the wrong food in the original container(s)*.
We understand that some things aren’t for everyone and welcome feedback from our customers. We offer a diverse selection and would love for you to come back and try something new. In some cases, we may offer a small courtesy discount for your next visit or we may offer for you to exchange your dish* for an item of equal or lesser value in lieu of a refund. We will need the food returned in the original container(s)* so we may confirm our preparation was correct. In the case of exchanged food, you may come to pick up the food.
The Sauces and spices we use on each dish are mainly in toppings, the levels we use are mild in general. Spice levels can be different for everyone. We usually suggest that you are on the side of caution and choose a lower spice level because you can add spice in, but can’t take it out! We do not offer discounts or refunds for a preferred different spice level, but please let us know if you’d like us to put the sauce or spice that is normally in a dish on the side for you.
We understand that everyone is hungry when they call us and we promise we're trying our best to get the food to you as quickly as we can! In the rare occasion something can occur out of our hands that delays our staff -- we sincerely apologize if this occurs. If your pickup order has been exceedingly delayed, we will provide a discount to your next order.
Sorry, we cannot cancel, refund or give store credit if you change your mind or mistakenly order an item after the order is prepared. You may receive a small courtesy discount in some cases. We cannot provide any refund or store credit for non-food items or beverages. Please contact us for more information.
Sorry, we cannot provide a refund or cash value on any complimentary food. As a private business, it is the right of the restaurant to deny or refuse service to any customer for any reason. If a customer abuses any of the Return & Refund Policy we unfortunately will not be able to conduct future business with the customer so that we may continue to provide excellent and quality food and service for you and our other wonderful and frequent patrons.
